If you or someone you know is currently in crisis, here are some possible next steps.

Call 9-1-1

If you or someone you care about is in imminent danger, call 9-1-1 and ask for a Crisis Intervention Trained officer. A Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) program is an innovative, community-based approach to improve the outcomes of these encounters. Mecklenburg County and many other communities in NC have CIT trained officers.
